We are introducing our successful purchasing concept in Austria, whereby energy is sourced in two markets at fixed and variable rates. In so doing, customers stand to benefit from the combination of cost savings and risk spreading. Salzburg-based Scholt Energy Control GmbH has been established, and companies in Austria can enter into a supply contract from 1 October.
Logical next step
We have been active in the energy market since 2005. Originally a Dutch company, we expanded our operations to the Belgian market in 2010, and in 2015 we entered the German market. Our customer portfolio currently consists of 5,000 companies, and turnover is expected to reach EUR 600 million this year.
In each country, customers are supported by regional fixed contacts and energy specialists working from offices in Valkenswaard (Netherlands), Waregem (Belgium), Ratingen and Stuttgart (Germany).

Energy partner
Scholt Energy is not only an energy supplier, but also an energy partner. We focus on long-term partnerships, offering services such as solar panels, energy savings and energy control, in addition to supplying energy. In Austria, we will start by supplying energy to corporate customers, with additional services to follow later.
