Energy supply to all DAF sites in the Netherlands and Belgium will commence on 1 January 2021. Scholt Energy will also support DAF in their energy transition activities. Further possibilities in terms of energy savings and sustainable energy production will also be examined.
Pooling of regional forces
DAF and Scholt are already working towards the energy transition in another area. DAF develops and manufactures electric trucks together with the VDL Group, for example for zero emission distribution transport in cities. Scholt Energy previously partnered with VDL for energy storage and smart charging of electric buses. Scholt Energy also is VDL's energy partner.
